Description: I pulled the lower intake manifold off last night and got down to where I could see the intake ports clearly to kinda plan out how I was going to do the Power Lynz in my heads. In doing so I spotted something that may be an issue, not sure yet. My fuel injector ports are in the heads. And they are angled in such a way as to point them towards the valves (I assume biased to the intake side). So basically the roof of the intake port is interrupted by the fuel injector port and not solid or smooth like the sides and the floor.

So now Im wondering if I am going to benefit any by having power lynz in there with only three effective sides. Will it still create the variable boundry layer and the turbulent effect? Should I put lynz or dimples in the valves and should I do just the intake or both of them?

Ive kinda asked this before but I'll post it here again in light of the information about the heads. The supercharger sits on top of the lower intake manifold (obviously) and the LIM mates up to the intake side of the heads via an aluminum gasket that is probably 3/16" thick. The old style were plastic and thinner, but they had issues with them leaking and dumping coolant into the motor. Anyway, is there going to be any benefit of putting the Power Lynz in the LIM alone or there and the heads also? My thought is that if I put the lynz in the LIM, then I would be creating such turbulence that it may cause boost stacking which of course would put my outlet air temps through the roof.

I can get pictures of the heads and the intake port if that will help. After seeing it all now, Im wondering if I would not be better off with just some grooves and some lynz or something in the valve(s). I just want to have something kinda mapped out so I know how to proceed once I start taking things apart.
