Based at the Walled Garden on the Dumfries House Estate with attached Greenhouses, Potting Shed and Educational Gardens, the Pierburg Education Centre will be manned by two qualified teaching staff and comprises of two teaching centres.

The Food Education Centre is dedicated to food, farming and horticulture supported by Morrisons PLC “Lets Grow Programme” and working closely with the Scottish Governments Food & Drink Industry Division to promote food education nationally.

The Morrisons Let's Grow classrooms will provide support to schools and young people from across Scotland by linking Food, Farming and Horticulture as part of the Dumfries House need to educate children about where food comes from. The teaching programme will link with the onsite Morrisons Teaching Farm to highlight lessons based around Farm to Fork and Plough to Plate.
