No accounting standard has been adopted earlier than the application date as stated in the standard. The following new standards are applicable to Defence in the current reporting period.

This standard applies to Defence for the first time for the 2008-09 financial reporting period. AASB 1050 has been issued as a result of removal AAS 29. There are no significant changes to Defence’s reporting and disclosure of Administered Items as a result of the application of this Standard.

This standard applies to Defence for the 2008-09 financial reporting period. The requirements of this standard relate to the apportionment of income, expenses, assets and liabilities by major activity (outcomes) where they are reliably attributable.
