Razer products are designed to work well beyond when the warranty has expired. However, If you feel your mouse is having issues we first suggest trying the mouse on another computer to insure the issue is with the mouse and not something within the computer system. If you have narrowed the issue to the mouse itself there is not really a cost effective repair center that would be able to assist you. Razer does make available some basic external spare parts at http://www.razerzone.com/store/gaming-accessories. but we are unable to supply any internal parts or repair guides.

You can clean the mouse sensor using a Q-Tip lightly coated with rubbing alcohol and then letting the sensor dry for 5 minutes before attempting to use it. It is rare, but a light shot of air from a can of compressed air can sometime free debris that may be causing an issue.

Please try cleaning the sensor using a Q-Tip lightly coated with rubbing alcohol. Let the sensor dry for 5 minutes and try the mouse again.

I'm having an issue with clicking in Quake III (CPMA mod) with my Razer Copperhead. How can I solve this?

"These are the problems encountered when using the Razer Copperhead mouse in Quake III (CPMA mod/OSP/baseQ3/etc):

- Left mouse clicks are frequently not detected when moving the mouse quickly and clicking at the same time

The standard input method for Q3 is buffered DirectInput (in_mouse 1). Polling data from the mouse at 1000 times per second can cause the buffer to choke up and disregard some mouse events as the buffer size is pre-defined and not dynamic.

in_mouse -1 reverts Q3 back to the standard Win32 mouse handling which is event based without buffers.

Use in_mouse -1 as the DI implementation has about 12ms lag, and the non-DI implementation has no lag. The only problem with this is there is a risk of mouse movement being clipped by the edge of the screen which can be a fairly large problem in CPMA. At 640x480 and 125 FPS, you will most likely run into this problem. The best workaround for this is using the On-the-Fly sensitivity (or via the Razer Control Panel) function on the mouse to reduce it to about 800 DPI. Please also adjust your Q3 sensitivity accordingly."

It will remember the currently active Profile even if turned off and will boot up in the active Profile."
